WHISKY DISTILLERIES
Creative Retail Consultancy, Brand Identity and Product development
We have been working with the Visitor Centre team at Laphroaig Distillery since 2016, on a phased Retail consultancy and Brand identity development for the retail space and Welcome area at the Brand Home in Islay, Scotland.
The retail design is inpired by raw materials, wood and iron, evoking the barrel, key element in the maturation process of the Whisky. We play with inderect warm lighting, creating an amber like effect, inspired by the colour of the dram. We created a setting, and experience, that blends in with the heritage of the place and strengthens the Brand’s identity.
The displays create a visual narrative based on the colours of the FoL tartan, which, likewise, is inspired by the land, the peat and the malt. The unmistakable Laphroaig green dominates the setting giving a sense of location and brand.
We have been working with Glen Garioch Distillery since 2017. We have applied small changes to existing fixtures and furniture to create and strenghten the Brand’s identity in the Visitor Centre and Retail Spaces.
